What Happens to a Heart Fully Loaded

A sad girls heart

can only take so much.

pain.

hurt.

fear.

and loneliness.

before it erupts

with tears.

Streaming down

her mountain cheeks,

into the craters of her neck.

As pillows and sheets soak up

her sorrow.

Her lava tears.

For when a heart is so

fully loaded,

there is no choice, except to let go.

No one see's it coming.

But after the explosion,

the heart simmers,

the mind calms,

and her volcanic body

rests once again.
